Endometriosis affects approximately 190,000,000 million women globally, costs the UK economy an estimated £8.2 billion a year and takes, on average, over 8 years to diagnose. Yet it still doesn't recieve the funding or attention it should, considering the impact it has on the lives of those affected.
 
We're pleased to release this fundraising bracelet in Endometriosis awareness month, with 50% of profits going to Endometriosis UK, the UK's leading charity pushing for prompt diagnosis, better treatment and support.
 
For the design we chose yellow, as it is recognised internationally as the colour of Endometriosis. We've put the numbers 1 : 10 on the bracelet to represent the 1 in 10 women thought to be suffering from the condition. And there are 8 sparkly beads or freshwater pearls spaced around the bracelet to represent the 8 years it takes to get a diagnosis.
 
As an Endometriosis sufferer myself, I'm pleased to be able to raise money to help support such an important charity.
